We moms are famous for running ourselves ragged for our home and family. There's always cooking, cleaning, laundry, or shopping that needs to be done. Kids require our time and attention to take them to practices and help with homework. The list of tasks that fall into our laps is... literally... never-ending. In other words, there is always something we could/should be doing. Because of that, and because I'm a firm believer in the mind-blowing power of moms getting time by themselves, this article is going to delve into 5 reasons why all moms should plan free time into their week.

Briefly, these are: We Need To Have Some "Me Time" We Need To Mentally Recharge We Need Time Away From Our Family It Won't Automatically Be Available No One Else Will Plan It For You Now let's dig just a little deeper into each one. We Need To Have Some "Me Time" I don't know of a single person out there who doesn't need some free time so they can enjoy life instead of just work, work, and work some more. Even if you have a job you really enjoy, you still need time to do what YOU want to do vs.

what your boss wants you to do. Too, you may really enjoy being around your children but, occasionally, praca z zamieszkaniem dla samotnej matki it's permissible to watch a movie that's not animated (even though those animated ones are pretty dog-gone good). Me time kept me from losing my mind the many years when I had all 4 kids at home and even now when I only have 1 left under the same roof system. We Need To Mentally Recharge We could all probably stand to get a little better at both understanding our need for...

and then actually allowing ourselves time for... mentally recharging. This really hits me when I charge my toothbrush (hang with me here for a minute). After it's fully recharged and I use it for the first time the difference is so noticeable. It seems to have so much more power... it's like new. But the thing that always strikes me is how I couldn't tell how it was losing that power from the last time it was charged. We're the same...

we need that periodic recharging and we can come back and do what we need to do with so much more power that the difference is noticeable... to everyone. We Need Time Away From Our Family This is blasphemy to some, but old news to most. Just as you would get burned out doing anything 24/7, so you will trying to be Super Mom at all times. If we're at home around the kids... face it... we're on "Mommy-duty." That's why I say we need time "away" from them...

time to be a woman, daughter, sister, or friend. Just to step out of that role for a little while and come back with more vigor. It Won't Automatically Be Available There aren't many women (certainly not yours truly) who, just by a stroke of luck, manage to have everything that needs to be accomplished done and therefore have some free time available.
